If New Orleans has become "The Lost City," then what does this tragedy say about America? Why were hundreds of thousands of people knowingly left in harms way over the past forty years in New Orleans since the last major hurricane? You do the math.
Apparently, Kanye West did well in algebra, statistics, urban planning and business.

Well there’s America and there’s America. Some of us will always be more disposable than others (those of us so unlucky not to be born with a daddy and Saudi buddies to bail us out of our failed oil businesses time after time…). It’s the way it will be until the WL (without lobbyists) band together for a common cause. Maybe being left to die by a party that demonizes federal intervention in social causes and then proves how truly incompetent they are when they are called on to do it (why give these idiots the job in the first place?) might be the motivation we need. Like the Dust bowl in the in the 30’s leading to the New Deal this might be a “turning pointâ€? that puts a fine point on the true motives of the weasel GOP and weak-kneed Dems. The times they are a changing..
