Pickup Basketball In Greensboro

Can anyone point me to a few good spots in town to get some run? I only have a few requirements:
- More 35+ year-old players than 18+ year-old pogosticks (I need time to get back to that degree of comp)
- A decently maintained court (nightlights are a bonus)
- Enough people consistently around in the mid/late afternoon to get in a decent run
All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yeah it’s call your local YMCA. 35s are always there. Around town there used to be many full court parks but for some reason the city took down baskets to prevent full court games. West Market street was a huge area to go and play 5 years ago before they took it down. One park off Benjamin Parkway heading towards downtown has a decent full court.
to prevent full court games? what possible reason would motivate that move? i’ll keep the Y as a rainy day or winter option, but i really want to get out under the sun this spring. i’m so pale, i look like i’ve been going to computer camp or something…
Removal of the full courts and sometimes even the nets? I think it’s a race thing. To keep blacks out of the white neighborhoods. Yup, welcome to the South.
yeah, my bro told me offline that it was a way to “control noise”… there’s too much mixed into that decision to take it at face value.
