Ties & Tales Book Cover Design
In 1997, at the age of 93, my grandmother — Reva Patrick Coon — asked me to design the cover for her first book.
Ties & Tales is her personal story of Dunsmuir, California — the place she’s called home since the early 1920’s. While much of the content focuses on our family, the book also provides interesting context to mainstream American history.

hi sarah.
the brown trout used to sell it, so if they’re still open, i’d check there. it was also sold in mt. shasta tourist stores for a while, but that was more than a few years ago, so i’m not sure…
i’ll probably publish it to lulu.com at some point in the future, so if you can’t find it, be sure to come back and hound me to get it up there for one-off prints.
