I am so glad they posted this article. It’s great writing. The whole June Harper’s is just lovely (Art Speigelman’s analysis of the Danish Mohammed cartoons, and a great historical and predictive article about how the right uses the “stabbed in the back” trope to blame their failures on the left and to demonize opposition).
i have to figure out what happened to my print subscription to harpers… yeah, i dug this article; loved how he toyed with the line of free speech.
