Right there with you, I haven’t seen anything out of Bloglines since early Sunday (19th). I tried subscribing to a busy feed not already in the list (digg) and only got 4 items, the most recent of which was Sunday 2.50pm (UTC 0).
Yep. These days, bloglines sucks. Lots of people are moving to other centralized feed servers (which equally suck, but in different ways) or even installing their own little feedreader on their own host. Which, of course, sucks too: It means that we all will see an increase in bandwidth usage on our servers because all those separate feedreaders are requesting our feeds, whereas Bloglines or Google only needed to read it once and could then distribute it to many people.
Sean, have you tried Google Reader? I switched and imported my feeds after the relaunch a few weeks ago and I haven’t looked back…
i did try google reader when it launched and found it to be loaded up on ajax and too slow for the way i browse through headlines. it looks like bloglines is working again. if it goes down again i’ll check out reader’s latest version…
