Of course, you know nothing good can come of this.
No, I said I would not break the peace, so I will give Sean a pass on this. Besides, that’s a pretty sterling resume he has linked to…
And Sean, I am not an ambulance chaser. I don’t practice that kind of law. That would be John Edwards, but I suppose that’s different…
Peace.
oh man… you’re so good at what you do. i was going to set your comments as spam, but i have to address your last assumption.
how do you know what i think of john edwards? seriously. run a google search, wait, no, i’ll make it easier for you; here’s a google search for both “sean coon” and “john edwards”. now, tell me exactly what my position is on john edwards. feel free to cover any angle…
that’s what i thought.
let’s get something straight, sam. i’m not ed cone. i don’t allow troll drivel on my blog for the sake of furthering “discourse” or a bigger google fishnet. i’m all about connecting with people and learning from other people’s experiences; i have zero tolerance for the tactics that you employ.
feel free to come back if you plan on leaving your bullshit at the door.
oh, by the way, i mentioned my front runners for the 2008 election in a comment thread just a few posts ago.
Sean, you made the dig at me. I’m offering peace. I will take you at your word that you are interested in connecting with other people and learning from their experiences and follow just how you do that. I’m not sure what constitutes “troll drivel” as the majority of my comments are on topic and occur in no more frequency than anyone elses. But rather than dig deeper, I will let this pass in the name of a truce. I’ve made it clear to a number of my harshest critics that I am more than willing to end the low level food fights and let bygones be bygones. If they and you are serious in your desire to stop the nastiness that goes on, you will accept my offer.
Believe it or not, I don’t go around picking fights with people. The record does not support such actions. We are very different, but we can get along.
agreed.
you should show up at a meetup one of these months and test that theory. i don’t know if you’ll believe me or not, but that’s why i feel in tune with most of the bloggers that i respect in town — including more conservative voices than myself, like david boyd and hoggard. we’ve met in person, rapped a bit and walked away knowing that we’re more alike than different.
you know, that old fashioned “lefty” concept of shared humanity.
You’d be surprised at the number of very liberal friends I’ve had over the years. I pride myself on the fact that I am frequently there only token conservative friend because I don’t fit the typical mold of conservatives. A lot of so called conservatives aren’t conservative at all due to their rejection of many libertarian values.
In any case, it’s good to hear you are willing to enter into a truce. One of these days I will go to one of those meetings just so everyone can see that I don’t wear a Darth Vader mask and breath fire and spit blood. That’s Gene Simmons, not me.
alright, i’ll see you when i see you then. i gotta stop now, though, before rumors of us dating start to circulate.
