Joe Guarino: […] “It is well established that North Carolina is a leftward-leaning state compared with much of the rest of the southern United States. That it would be the first in the region to toy with universal coverage is at once unsurprising, but alarming.” […]

I asked over there, “Mary [wrote]: “…but it’s a FACT that the Democratic Party runs this state.” Got a source? A citation? Something that’s not opinion?

She replied, “We’re talking about healthcare here, Sue. Not whether or not you’re in (total) denial about how we got in the boat we’re in…”

One of us is in denial, that’s for sure. When fact cannot be separated from opinion and there is no source or citation for that opinion, well…

Joe, who responds to most every comment, so far has had nothing to say.

i don’t care who runs this state. if the current governor — republican or democrat — is looking into a health care solution for every last north carolina resident, then i say we need to offer up support and bring even more ideas to the table.

the title of joe’s post is so over the top.
