That’s right- a few downtown merchants are hoping to get folks out on the first Friday of each month. Some people are having entertainment or special deals on merchandise. With all the people out on the streets we hope to give people a good reason to come visit inside.
Given half the chance, people will see why shopping in locally owned retail shops is such a great experience.
Merchants hope to have the support of downtown advocates, civic leaders and the new folks who have moved into (or are planning to move!) into downtown.
Anyone who has as downtown presence is welcome to participate!
These merchants will also be supporting the ARTS community of Greensboro. Several galleries will be open on the First Fridays too.
