Okay. Until I saw the pic (which didn’t show up in my reader), I thought you were talking about Imus.
mission accomplished. you guy should hire me as a freelance lede writer. ;)
You’re a pretty decent cartoonist.
The political sentiments are the usual stuff. Boring.
I’m tired of the America hatred. Tired of the Bush Dementia Syndrome. Tired of morons who always blame America.
You are just another “guy on the lost highway,” as Hank Williams would say.
thanks for the props on the cartoon, but i’m just the messenger — mr. fish is the cartoonist.
here in reality — where numerous perspectives compose “truth” — we tend to look at global affairs through the lens of cause and effect. our country has had a god complex in the middle east for 50 years now — talking loud about democracy, yet overthrowing and propping up governments (iran, saudi arabia), torturing people, killing innocent folk, all while securing natural resources and/or our best interests.
if you read that as “America hatred,” well, then thats the singular, “get ‘er done” perspective you bring to the table.
as ol’ hank once said:
Yeah, I know that arrogance about “reality.” I live in Woodstock, NY and New York City. Once again, the usual.
The U.S. liberated Nazi Germany and Imperialist Japan. Yes, we are supposed to be securiting “natural resources” and looking out for “our best interests.” President Bush is to be admired both for securing our interests in the Middle East and for attempting to install democracy in Iraq.
You are obsessed with the “America hatred.” It’s become very trite. You are not the original thinker you are fantasizing. In the arts and humanities, coughing up the neo-Marxist BS you pedal has become the basic requirement for employment. You are one of the herd.
The U.S. is the salvation of the world. We make mistakes. Get rid of the commie propaganda. It’s stale bullshit.
The “enlightened” stance you’ve been propagandized to portray is the neutered, pansified, beaten stance of the liberal white man. Hank Williams would have taken you to the woodpile and whipped your ass. You are not enlightened. You are a coward and you are regurgitating the party line of the Communist Party U.S.A. (You will protest that you aren’t, but if it quacks like a duck, it is a duck.) You are a commie dupe.
I’ve been around the crock of shit you peddle for years. I once affected it in order to get a job. And that’s what you are doing too, coward.
if you want to place a game of geo-cred, i’m north jersey, born and raised; lived in the city, applied for a job in the wtc weeks before 9/11 and commuted through the rubble for *years* afterwards.
i have a perspective shaped from my own experiences — your mileage should vary.
btw, you need to work on your math skills. 50 years back doesn’t tread on what went down during WWII. but then i guess if you want to make a point, you’ll make a point, eh?
whatever, jack. you know me as much as you read me and vice-versa.
