		<description>sure, but once you turn off the notification, it loses the immediacy factor... which is the value, i suppose.

the twitbin plugin doesn't use a full browser window -- it simply adds a ~180 pixel wide tray to the left of the browser. as new tweets come in, they add to the top of the pile.

		<description>You realize you can turn off the notification sound, right? Uncheck the "Play damn chirping sound" option in the preferences panel. ;)

I just can't imagine always having to have a browser window open to use Twitter, but to each his own.</description>
