The FujiF31fd Is Too Much Fun
Ok, I’m being a photo geek, but this new camera is really cool. A big thank you to Jay Patrikios and Ben from Photogeekery.com, who suggested the Fuji line on a post a few weeks back.
Here’s a sample color shot, no flash, of Lucy from this morning:
And another one in B/W mode just a few minutes later:
Amazon has a bundle deal of the F31fd and a 2GB memory card for $279. I’ve no regrets.

We got back from the mountains of Virginia a few hours ago. As always, such a good time. I think Lucy enjoyed herself — being the city dog in the middle of nowhere — though she had noticeable issues with the concept of fetching.

Someone please explain to me how I went from razzing my NYC neighbors about owning dogs just last year, to hanging out at a dog park the size of a football field with a bunch of slobbering, noisy mutts… and my own puppy.
No need, I’m digging it.
Video shot from my Treo 650 (Sprint, as long as this phone lasts me a few more years, I’m officially happy)

Lucy just barked at the landscapers. Oddly enough, it’s the first time she’s barked in the two weeks I’ve had her. Oh well, so much for thinking I was blessed with a mute dog.
My Puppy Is Dumb
Welcome Home, Lucy Coon
Angela and I went to the pound on Saturday and today I picked up Lucy, a 15lb, 3.5 month year-old Lab Mix.
She’s still a bit groggy from being spayed, but she already broke in the sofa by puking on it, so I think she’s feeling at home.
